Kelli Kavenaugh put up an excellent, extremely thorough FAQ for DEMF last
year, which is up here still: http://music.hyperreal.org/demf/demf.rtf

You should be able to rent a car in the US with a valid UK drivers license.
I can attest that driving on the "wrong" side of the road is quite a
challenge though, from my experiences clipping side-view mirrors in the UK.
:) You may want to opt for a cab (all of which is discussed extensively in
the FAQ and the listgeeks archive below).

The list that Gil set up last year for DEMf discussion is
[EMAIL PROTECTED] which can be subscribed to at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/listgeeksatdemf01/ Rob's definitely right
that this is a great place to go to search the archives, if the FAQ is not
enough. Hell, it might not be a bad idea if we try to divert some of this
DEMF banter back over there until at least late March or whenever the lineup
will be announced this year.

Mmmm... DEMF After-parties. Aaaaaaaaaa. :)
