Seems to me the rap for Detroit DJs not showing up for gigs lies with shady promoters/clubs either completely deceiving the unknowing punter or not following through in a proper fashion with arrangements (a la Alan Sanctuary). I am sure the inimitable Ms. Gavoor has an opinion on this as well...
Just my opinion, m* Btw...I heard that Carl actually played an event in Colorado the night of the 'Spend The Night' fiasco and was never actually booked by Alan.
