Tracklist A1: "The Golden Apple" (Mark Broom Remix) B1: "My Soul" B2: "Tribal Joy" Considered one of Detroit Techno's most underrated talents, it was Eddie Flashin' Fowlkes who in 1992 created the warm Techno/R&B hybrid he called Technosoul. Raised on Motown, Fowlkes viewed his Detroit's new and old music styles --Techno and Soul-- as inseparable. Fowlkes combined it with with jazz tunes, melodies, and especially vocals: bringing FEELING back into dancefloor Techno. Tresor released Fowlkes's "Technosoul" manifesto in 1992, an album backed by the production talents of 3MB (Thomas Fehlmann & Moritz von Oswald). Following Jeff Mills's 'Late Night' release the Tresor Archiv series sheds light on this classic project, with a stunning Mark Broom (Pure Plastic, London) rework on the A-side. On the flip, check the original "My Soul" and "Tribal Joy" tracks included from the "Technosoul" LP (Tresor 008)... tracks still way ahead of their time. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
