Subject: DJ Marshall Jefferson Gets Retro at Joystick Junkies on 9th May

That's right pop fans, Joystick Junkies is pleased to announce that
Chicago's own godfather of house music Mr. Marshall Jefferson will be
spinning tunes at the very special Joystick Junkies party next Thursday 9th
May, SAK Bar, Greek Street, London. W1

Marshall, a self proclaimed god of RTS and console games is one of the
original innovators in Chicago house, Marshall Jefferson had a hand in
several of the music's most influential early tracks. As a solo act, he
recorded 1986's "Move Your Body" -- sub-titled and unanimously acclaimed
"The House Music Anthem." Jefferson also helped record Phuture's "Acid
Tracks," the first and best acid-house single.

The night will also feature a mini fashion show showing off some of the the
new Joystick Junkies summer colours, they'll be some very special new arcade
machines from the lovely Andrew MacDougall, some seriously dangerous vodka
jello shots from the girls at OPM Recruitment www.opmjobs.com and of course
all your usual Joystick Junkies regulars to make the party rock.
