I know that my love of electronic music stemmed directly from my research
into the history of computing in school...Fleetwood Mac was kick ass and
all, but it really caused a lot of cognitive dissonance when I was drooling
over pictures of ENIACs and Manchester Marks. I was also able to come to
terms with the fact that one of the reasons I go for more, well what I
call...."Maximal" (as opposed to minimal) techno was because I like sick big
nasty honkin mainframes. That's not to say I'm not still in therapy.

I like being nerdy...bring it on.

I also like listening to techno in my spaceship.

20 days 'til my flight to Detroit and counting,

Dina

p.s. if for any reason you care:

My top 1 list:

Tok Tok vs. Soffy O "Missy Queen Must Die" remixes, especially the Smash TV
and Martini Bros remixes. I wouldn't call it techno, but it makes me feel
pretty techno.
