Following on from May's Public Heroes party which saw Blake Baxter make a
welcome return to London, along with Trevor Rockcliffe, and Expanding
Records, striking multimedia showcase in Room Two, the night continues to go
from strength to strength with the most cutting edge line-up to date -
bringing together innovative producer / DJs from Berlin, Helsinki, London,
and Montreal.

T.Raumschmiere heads the evening's entertainment in Room One. A name on the
lips of many in Germany these days, his reputation as a producer and remixer
is growing in tandem with increasingly rapturous reception of his blistering
live sets. The Sh*tkatapult label that he co-runs is responsible for putting
out a wide range of material from abstract electronics and high-end micro
house to punk-rocking techno/electro.
Joining Mr. Raumschmiere will be Montreal-based DJ Algorithm aka Jeff
Milligan. A stalwart of the Canadian techno scene, Jeff has been DJing and
putting on parties since 1990. His Revolver imprint is responsible for
high-grade releases from a variety of exceptional Canadian talents,
including current talk of the town, Akufen. Jeff's own production style is
characterised by it's refined, crisp sound combined with a dancefloor drive
that will ensure bodies move on the night.
Back on the Sh*tkatapult tip, Sami Koivikko is being hailed as a bit of a
Finnish wonderboy, who's organic chord-driven tech-house is as pure and
sharp as the Finnish snow. Expect his DJ set to reflect this.
Public Heroes resident, A.J. Letty ties it all up in the main room with a
lip-smacking selection of the finest house and techno around at the moment.

The irrepressible T.Raumschmiere pops up again for a DJ set in Room Two - no
doubt he'll take things even deeper and more abstracted.
There's a live set from Rephlex man of the moment Astrobotnia, whose
eponymous album and single is currently getting big props from the music
press. His atmospheric blend of soundscapes and shattered breakneck-breaks
should prove captivating. Jimpster aka Jamie O'Dell will already be a name
familiar to many. The Freerange honcho's abstract electronic jazz has
garnered him much respect, and he's sure to be dropping some heavyweight
tracks at Public Heroes.
Completing the line-up is Alick Sethi who has been running the Electric Café
show on the Student Broadcast Network for the last four years. He has a
reputation for mixing up the deeper side of house and techno with choice
experimental nuggets.

Both rooms of the event will be simultaneously webcast live by Gaialive on
www.gaialive.co.uk and www.third-ear.net, and archived for your future
listening pleasure.
