I love how people still consider electro "trendy."
Funny cos it's been looked at this way since '96 or so.

Also, how people call electro "retro" or "80s"
but never label techno this way.
Funny, cos the root-shaping of BOTH of these subgenres took place in the
80s in one way or another.
Electriyin Mojo was never afraid to jump across genres, and he was
definetly revolutionary.

I like classic techno as much as the next person, but I cant disgard
electro by calling it "trendy" and pushing it aside.
I never understood this whole philosophy.

nope, the immediate future is electro and micro*.*

both are considered trendy among those who need to be trendy to be part of
something
