There's also "What It Is" by Bliss (Jon Bishop and Daryl Riley from San Diego) from 1994. I'm not totally sure but think it has that same vocal sample, "What is house music/a new form of music that gives complete freedom of expression..." A good track but I wasn't happy with the EQing (i.e., the bass sucked) so never played it all that much.
For DJ Pierre's best tracks are I'd rate "Generate Power," the "Shine" remix and the "Music Express" remix right up there, because I'm a total sucker for the wild pitch sound, and you can't leave out "Acid Trax."
