There's another "Rather Interesting" interview with Uwe on Samuel's (ma 
hovina) excellent AtomTM site:

Patrick Vendenberghe's review (dated 11/07/02) in the upper right-hand 
corner. This is a really good place to keep apprised of what Uwe has up his 
sleeve - which is usually quite a bit.
Schmidt is quite a nice guy; I have gone back and forth with him via email 
volley about 4 years ago. Very laid back, NON star ego, approachable but 
private.
