The side I'll remember and I hope hear out is "Auburn." Builds from a 'tribalish' percussion sketch, overlaid with cavernous, echoing and deep spoken words, for maybe four minutes. Then a wistful flutey synth melody comes in ... and it all gets quite heart-string tugging. Alvarado is well known for his subtle and mellow productions, this is no exception. But something in it imho (I don't quite know what) lifts it above his high standards.
