I think I'm the same way. I find myself ditching more and more of my old
Chicago house and buying more of the rare grooves from whence they sprang.
Yet I still love a ton of really imaginative or sneaky sampling a la Craig,
Global Communications and apparently Pepe Braddock. It's interesting to note
that almost oall of the (IMO) best sampling artists also have great
song-writing skills of their own, and tend to be amazing remixers (well, I
guess that bit should be evident).

I've been hunting all over for an mp3 of this track that actually has some
strings in it. It would seem it's quite the standard these days! Anyone know
where I can hear the original in its entirety?
Maybe I should just buy 'Backlash'... ;)
Oh, and I found a .mid file of it that was trully horrific...
