> Hey all- > I know it's a big and open question to ask but I'm curious to hear who - in > your own opinion- is the most soulful DJ. What I mean is - for you who is > the one whose "got it" and manages to bring "it" to your heart every time. > And I'm talking only DJs here. When you say soulful, I think house (not to say that's what anyone else needs to think). My top three (soulful) house DJs would have to be TP, Ron Trent and Theo Parrish. I also heard an amazing, soulful set last Saturday from hometown hero Sam 'The Man' Burns here in DC. He really brought it - playing everything from 'Hold It Down' to typical naked-type DC deep house to garage classics. He's always tight and varied, but this one one of the best sets I've heard him spin - one of the best sets I've seen/heard here in DC. 'The Man' has been DJing since '78 and sounds like it. Here's the closest thing I can find to a bio: http://www.speedgarage.com/news/SamBurns/SamBurns.html Tristan --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
