When you say soulful, I think house (not to say that's what anyone else
needs to think). My top three (soulful) house DJs would have to be TP, Ron
Trent and Theo Parrish.

I also heard an amazing, soulful set last Saturday from hometown hero Sam
'The Man' Burns here in DC. He really brought it - playing everything from
'Hold It Down' to typical naked-type DC deep house to garage classics. He's
always tight and varied, but this one one of the best sets I've heard him
spin - one of the best sets I've seen/heard here in DC. 'The Man' has been
DJing since '78 and sounds like it. Here's the closest thing I can find to a
