yes i installed the new media player along with explorer 6 a month or so ago 
for the computer that runs 98se, that i use for internet, downloads, and 
various odd jobs.

do u know how one might do that similiar function in 98se?
also would uninstalling media player work and then just stripping it's program 
folder of all its contents?  or does it hide this somewhere else in the 
registry or in the windows folder?
i have spoke with many people and noone has a clue.

cause 98 does have a similar function...just not as easy to use.

If you have XP you can roll back to a previous state via "system 
restore"....probably the best option on that beast.
