James Duncan is originally from Toronto and owns his own imprint called Le
Systeme Records. He's an amazing Horn player, as well as a DJ.

He splits his duties in NYC playing as a part of free jazz ensembles and
playing the horn as part of the Metro Area ensemble. He has a jazz group
called IZITITIZ, that includes members of the No Neck Blues Band (a project
on Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace! record label).

He's an excellent DJ and producer. He has a single recently released on
Traxxx, a sub-label of Dancetracks Records, in NYC. Its slamming, though it
doesn't sound like Metro Area. His label, Le Systeme, releases free jazz, as
well as House music. If you can find some, I'd certainly recommend picking
them all up.
