Obviously you can get info the final scratch from the net but I would much rather hear what someones opinion I trust more than some random punters. For instance im sure you can find any number of reviews of CDJ machines on the internet saying how fantastic they are, how they are better than turntables because they have an auto BPM match function etc.
I agree that OT conversation can be frustrating, especially if there is a lot of on topic conversation going on as well and you have to try and split apart the threads (especially if an on topic conversation veers of topic and so you don't even have the message titles to help). But there simply hasn't been much on topic conversation so this is a bit of a moot point I feel.
