Sorry I didn't make it but got into a 3hr discussion with my sister that
night and just about made it to The End on time.
Looks like I missed out on a fab evening at Public Life - good to hear
that it went so well. When's the next one then? I'll defo try to avoid my
sister that time... ; )

What Tristan wrote about Mills' set was spot-on. I really enjoyed him
playing all sorts, loved every single minute of it and danced all through
his set. The crowd had a fab time, and Jeff himself was bopping behind
the dexx most of the time, too. Great stuff!
(Sidenote: Mr C is about to beat Jim Masters as to who can play the
most boring and funkless sets at The End.)

Favorite trainspotting moments from Mills' set:

69 - My Machines
Joey Beltram - Energy Flash
Loads of Mills, especially the Every Dog-esque moments

He played Relight My Fire during the disco bit that you missed (amongst
some other hits that I forget now), and it made my favourite cheesy
moment of the night when everybody was singing along. ; )

All of this was great to hear on that sound system. I fear for my hearing...

That's the reason I wear earplugs in there. I had to use the ones
I normally wear for swimming cos I lost my old ones but I have to
say they appear to work really well. No problems at all today.
They're Speedo's, in case anyone wants to know, and iirc they
only cost around £8 or so.

Cheers,

Anya
