i didn't know there was remixes of give it up.. the FFRR 12" only has
the hit version, named "give it up - batacuda refrescante" which is
the only mix i've ever heard (uh, afaik it's the original). i haven't
even heard the C2 track.
this indeed is the remix where carl craig, simply red etc, took the samples
from.
on the original first pressing this remix 'batacuda' was on the b-side, track 1
side a comes with the track 'give it up' without any mix mention, which is
the 'real' original - but the remix became the hit
