I've just bought a copy of Robert Hood's Minimal Nation, and the two tracks on side A of the first record produce quiet clicks on top of the music. I'm not sure if they're arrthymic or rhythmic in a reasonably sophisticated way.
I bought the record used, and normally I would assume these sounds to be the result of defects. I did read somewhere, however, of some of Rob Hood's music (I forget which) involving almost random-sounding clicking noises. Is clicking indeed a feature of Minimal Nation, or have I just got marks on my record? I thought this list was bound to be full of knowledgeable people, so I took the liberty of asking you all.
