If they were stick to their principles, they wouldn't sell any of their records to the big chainstores. But of course they do. They also wouldn't be licensing their records to major label or major-supported independents. But they have. Sell out? Definitely. They wouldn't be if they weren't so resolutely and vocally "underground". I think it's fine to sell/license your records to anyone you want to, as long as you haven't previously committed to not doing so as a matter of principle. There's nothing wrong with selling out. It's the hypocracy that I object to.
