well if you think about that time period, all the chicago producers and lables were ripping off each others tracks and sounds fast and furious anyway, so the fact that Belgians jumped into the fray isn't all that shocking... At the WNUR station in chicago there is a huge stack of New Beat records in the arhive stacks from whoever had the dance music show at that time (then called "club beat", late 80s) with even tracks by Karen Finley, etc. appearing on some of them. If you want me to look up anything in particular let me know, it's basically a time capsule of that era, with lots of belgian LP compilations too.
