The talk about Final Cut and Nitzer Ebb this past week reminded me about my favorite Detroit Industrial/Goth band: Shock Therapy. Found the official band site: http://www.shocktherapyweb.de/
They pre-date Nitzer Ebb (yet sound surprising very much like them. hmmmm, I wonder...). Shock Therapy was hardcore "Ministry" when Al J. was still trying to be "new romantic" and singing with a british accent. I havent found any Shock Therapy songs on the net yet. But tracks like "No Means Yes" , "XRay House" and "Hate is a 4 Letter Word" were wildy popular at The City Club back in the day. Anyone else a fan? sean deason now playing in my head: West India Company "Ave Maria" (Blancmange at thier finest!!)
