It's been mentioned before, but last time he visited us in Detroit, I recall about 6 people on the dance floor and maybe 15-20 in the room (plus or minus a couple for the bartenders). Probably not so much reason for him to come back, or for anyone to pay him to come back unfortunately. Maybe better/different promotion could solve that? I dono... I was pretty embarrassed for Detroit.

I need some Deep House from the master of it.

Francois K on future of Body & Soul/techno/etc:

"We're trying to find a proper situation for it to exist, we just didn't
wanna continue with what we felt was not the proper atmosphere and
situation for it," Francois says of Body & Soul. "But I'm also
involved in a lot of other things, I'm doing a techno tour with Derrick
May
- it must be that I'm playing some different stuff (laughs deeply), so I
hope that somehow I'm giving a little something to guess or wonder
about,
so that when I do play in Australia, hopefully it might not just be as predictable as one would think. There will be a few surprises thrown in
there."
