On the subject of Convextion, I think his best work are still the Matrix records. Robert Hood and the Model 600 would make my top of 2002 as well, very catchy lyrics "I need an update.. Model Six Zero Zero.." The Roman Flugel Tracks on Delivery records are probably may favorite of 2002, very nice dj tools minimal techno.
