I believe the Dogon of Mali annually traced the movements of Sirius B through a ritualistic dance. Did so for hundreds of years if I remember correctly. Sirius B was only able to be seen by modern tech in the late fifties. I think they stopped the dance a few years back because of the growth of Islam in the region. peace lks
