Speaking of ipod's, has anyone checked out the archos player/recorder. A friend of mine mail-ordered it from the U.S.
It's an mp3 player/recorder, with a line in/out - digital in/out, + usb connectivity (if my memory is correct) and has a 20gig hardrive - all in the palm of your hand. We mainly use it for recording our club nites. Firmware for it is a bit shaky though, we've lost parts of the night sometimes, mainly because there are no compressors on it, so you really have to pay attention to your levels - among other things. ;) Cheers!
