ok we're talking about something undefinable here so for the sake of an explosion of list activity discussing things that we aren't gonna resolve maybe we should agree to disagree. the bottom line is this: if you _really_ feel that thing that gets people going about detroit techno (no i won't use the word soul, cos of the misunderstandings that causes) then cool. if you don't then that's a shame (i speak to you spw), but i suspect no amount of email traffic is going to convince you that others do. andrew hodgson's email struck a chord with me tho and that is, 'what is it in the production/construction that makes it this way?'. but i think that is OT and more suitable for the 313techknow list. robin...
