id say the comment i was replying to was more trolling than mine.

uh, sure i guess.
>people's opinions aren't just now the defining measurement, they
always have

defining

that rule
>against it, not a fact.
does this apply to morals as well? so then i guess in your world,
if murder is okay in your opinion, then thats all that matter,
right? you can go out and kill at will because your opinion is the
only thing that matters.
>in the end, and off of a techinical arguement, i somewhat agree.
there is

comes down

someone

im not devaluing anyone's opinion any more than anyone else's. ill
tell you right away that my opinion means nothing in discerning
good music from bad. i really like bad early 90's pop music. i
know its not good music, so im not going to try to argue that it
is simply because i like listening to it. that would be rather
pompous of me.
>and *that* is wrong. dislike it, sure.
>feel its a lesser form of music, go ahead. but i've seen too many
>elitists who are so willing to openly and publicly rip on someone
for the
>music they listen to. that's harsh.
im not ripping on anyone. i think that just about everyone likes
some music that has little to no artistic value. i dont have any
problems with that. i just dont see why people continually need to
force their opinion onto a music's evaluation. its impossible to
strike any genre at all completely from the good music category.
however, i believe that as you listen to more and more music, you
can begin to hear what went into it more and more easily. i
personally have no problem admitting that i like some bad music.
its the other people who insist that music is good just because
they listen to it, because they cant admit to liking bad music,
that make me irritated.
