Yeah, I don't like everything they do - I find some of their stuff a bit over-polished, noodly and sterile, but the first 12" on their Needs label from a few years back - and this Clairaudience release - are just stunning. 'Reminiscence' has great chords, a really unusual progression, and fantastic beats - I thought it was refreshingly noodle-free while still being very musical... T
