The new Techno Exhibition at Cranbrook Art Museum was a huge success!
Channel 4 News showed up and aired the event; in addition, 96.3FM (WDVD, a
nationwide syndicate radio station) came by to give support.
The show, "Elements and Concepts of Digital Music", produced by Herdest
Cummings; gave an explanation and demonstrated how electronics impacts urban
music, life and culture in the 21st century.
You can purchase the official sound track for the presentation at Tower
Records or via internet at Groove Tech (http://www.groovetech.com). The CD
is entitled, "Time Machine Porte 1" by Das CLOSER.
On March 7, Herdest Cummings will give an overview of how "Elements and
Concepts of Digital Music" is pertinent to the life of Techno Music and
House Music in Detroit, as well in the world on WDTR (FM 90.9) Radio. The
broadcast will air live at 6:50 PM (EST).
For those who cannot tune-in, the broadcast will be available to download in
the coming weeks at http://www.herdestcummings.com .
Thank you for your continued support and please pass the word along.
Yours Truly,
Herdest Cummings
