A bit late this but I have to agree that Osunlade was sweet.

I am late to on this: Yeah he was amazing! He played an excellent selection of (deep) house. To many great records to mention but, Tristan mentioned some. My personal highlights where osunlade dropping Moodymann's Shades of Jae, Lil Louis megamix with Club Lonely, Y.U. Fall end finishing it with French Kiss, Blaze's wishing you where here and dropping Aly-uss Follow me and mixing it with Can you feel it really did it to me and not to forget that sh*tload of his own productions he played! maybe those where the highlights :)

A welcome dose of house made a change from the bangbangbang of Mills that
other Londoners were following that night.

I think if you where at lost that night there is just one word you should say: Doh! :)

Nobody mentioned A Guy Called Gerald who seems to have had a bit of a DJing
renaissance recently.

I just heard the first 20 minutes of his set, after that i was trapped by Osunlade....

Absolute utter class!
One of the best House sets I've heard since I last saw TP
and Traxx in Germany and Jonny at Slices last year.
Before Osunlade got on the decks Simon Haggis laid
down some sweet tunes in the main room, and then it was
5 hours of dancing bliss for me (he played 6 but we left
earlier) and a very appreciative audience.
And I need a foot massage now...
Props to Whistlebump for getting Osunlade to play here.
You _have_ to go see him if he plays anywhere near you.

Agreed. Two other bits of the Brixton Techno Mafia and two technotourists
say "ouch". Serious podiatric damage incurred. Consensus fantastic
performance. Next to last song was Chaka Khan's "I Know You, I Live You"
followed by something that sounds like Osunlade 3 years from now. Mr.
Odeluga was g e t t i n g d o w n to some Fela Kuti in the last hour as well. He played a ton of his own tracks and I spotted a few older Strictly records. I'm sure Otto and KJ can give a more thorough report on the track selection. At any rate, it was really nice seeing The End crowd (and venue) transformed for a house vibe. There was a lot of space to move almost all
night, and that is a precious commodity at The End. Per topicality: he
played Amp Dog Knights, a Moodymann cut that isn't on KDJ (can't recall
which off the top of my head), and Theo Parrish's "I Can Take It".
