Ikea do these shelves called 'Ivar' - my friends are always impressed when they see them for the first time! They're modular, so you can have them at any size you like, and expand them when you need to. Pretty neat. Oh yeah, they're cheap too - about 60 pounds for the ones I've got (storage for over 1500 records, loads of books, a TV, etc.)
