I picked this up due to the fact that it was mixed at Conny Plank's studio...I'm fascinated by this guy. To be so close to so much interesting music that was produced in the 70s and 80s in Germany, he must have been quite the catalyst to have inspired Kraftwerk, Harmonium, Neu, etc. Does anyone have any biographical information about Conny? I'd love to see a picture of him and am curious if he ever made his own music as well.
Thanks. Leslie Rollins PS. Liasons Dangereuses sounds like classic PIAS/Wax Trax EBM with a bit more "songfulness" to me. I like it. -----Original Message----- From: marsel [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, April 01, 2003 7:10 AM To: 313 Subject: (313) liaisoins d repress finally a vinyl and cd repress for the first (?) time on cd as well! :-) LIASIONS DANGEREUSES The self titled album from 1981 by Liasions Dangereuses is finally available on CD for the first time, mastered from the original master tapes! LD is Chrislo Haas from D.A.F., Beate Bartel from Mania D and singer Krishna Goineau ( vocals in german, spanish, french and broken english). The album caused quite some stirr after it's release ( the 'hitsingle' 'Los ninos del parque' is also featured) and has been quoted by a wide range of Detroit, Chicago and UK etc producers as inspirational. Sampled by Future Past/Clinically Inclined(ART 1), BFC/Evolution (Fragile 2) and much more. Big Tip!!
