I just discoverd one of the most beautiful pieces of music I ever heard!
The song I am talking about is:
"Stan Ivory & His Omnificent Orchestra - Stans Theme".
Moodymann sampled it for his "meanwhile back at home" on the forvernevermore
lp released on peacefrog ("ah ah ahoem ahoempa").
It features some nice guitar work and a beautiful keys solo. My ears tell me
this must be from the ´81 - ´84 period.
My question however: I looked everywhere on the internet.. but Stan Ivory
seems to be a big mysterie. Nobody knows him.. and nobody knows this track -
anyone can give me tips how to obtain an original copy?
I heard it on an ashley beedle compilation on strut.
