I would be surprised if UR supported the gulf war but it still annoys me
every time I read the statement. My argument is that the UR statement is at
least insensitive. It is a unhealthy analogy. It is not wise. However, I
think I understand now (I applaud you for taking this topic on) ---> There
is a need to protect the rights of the independent musician - bootlegging
vinyl is not cool !!!

I think that widespread bootlegging of vinyl is a direct threat to the
current indepedent industry of underground electronic music. This industry
is struggling to find alternatives to this revenue model.
