There's plenty happening here at synKratic studios. Here's an update
on our latest endeavours:
• LTD volume 2 has officially been released. Copies are now available
at Sam the Record Man in Toronto.
Track Listing:
1 - Accelerate (12:11) - Provides a hard thumping adrenalin rush in two
movements (pt. 2 being dedicated to Luc Van Acker).
2 - Tekker (12:49) - Features the sound of a drum machine dying in a
blender followed by a mystical journey on Autobahn Rd.
3 - Heliosphan (9:11) - Represents synKratic's unofficial
interpretation of the classic track by Richard D. James.
• Heliosphan is also available in mp3 format under "recent burns" @
www.synKratic.com.
• Additionally, under "fresh cuts" is a selection from our anthem track
Movementz (Hint: listen to the track while looking at the animation on
the staff).
• Past mp3s from LTD volume 1 can still be found in the "archives"
section on the site.
• Shout outs Andrew Duke for playing the whole of LTD volume 1 on his
syndicated radio show "In The Mix." Cheers to the Duke!
• FYI: If you'd like to get your hands on both volumes and contribute
to a good cause at the same time, check it out. LTD volumes 1 & 2 are
now available in a prize draw for donations of $25 or more supporting
the electronic radio program "feedback monitor" on CIUT 89.5 FM. Greg
Clow, host of the show, has been a huge promoter of the experimental
music scene, and he has supported our work since its inception.
