True but why make the punters suffer... I've no objections to people getting
paid what they are worth and you are only worth what someone is willing to
pay etc...just don't see why the punters should get the ugly end of the
stick...

We can all but try, there's plenty of little clubs working hard, have a look
on http://www.overloadmedia.co.uk/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=6 the main problem
is we can't afford the big names or the names won't play. I recently got
turned down by a famous name because my club night only holds 350 people,
there was no profit in the gig for me but it does make it hard for
us...although I get the feeling this was his agents doing...
