We can all but try, there's plenty of little clubs working hard, have a look on http://www.overloadmedia.co.uk/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=6 the main problem is we can't afford the big names or the names won't play. I recently got turned down by a famous name because my club night only holds 350 people, there was no profit in the gig for me but it does make it hard for us...although I get the feeling this was his agents doing...
