Thats right, im waiting for this "W2TR".
No more "raves" around Paris...yea.
Lets call it parties where you can dance on "classical techno", some good
techno with a lotsa groove in it, tinged with Detroit vibes.
But that sucks its THAT expansive (30Euros or 25Euros).

While "illegal raves" remains really big here. But the sound ya can hear in
there is really strong...hardtekno. Which is often rather "boomy" than
groovy.
And for the first time, for its 10th anniversary (May 1st), the "TEKNIVAL",
big event that gather many sounds systems ('illegal' rave promoters) can be
considered as LEGAL.
Since its declared, and authorized. This could be realized due to
negotiations, and in return promoters have to make some efforts and organize
the event much more (water spot, trash spot, toilettes, first-aid team,
parking...).
So, one important reason why "legal raves" has disappeared, organization
cost money.
But they gonna make it though! Cuz it will be on donation.
And thats the point!! I prefer thousand times to give away 5 or 7 Euros, and
enjoy an organized party than pay 30Euros for one night !!
(alright, i know there are the sounds sytem, lights sytem and, maybe the
more, the DJs that cost a lot.......)

All i wish for the future, is that it will give ideas to promoter to make
some parties like this with some groovy techno. Where the party people wont
be only some gloomy headz, but full of happiness and colorful.
And maybe that split between this two kinda raves would fade to a more
united movement....Ow well, im probably dreaming.
