Thursday night:
Dan Bell in Windsor - really cool Kompakt/Perlon style tracks played for an
intimate group of 50. Dan says many of the tracks he played were from small
labels from unknown artists. He had me smiling all night.
Friday night:
Kataconda (www.acidsonicresearch.com) - awsome original hard grooving techno
DJ set. If you like Mills style techno, Barry has taken it to the next
creative level (seriously). Ask him for a disc, I'm sure he'll get you one.
Keep an eye on this label the next couple of years.
Christian Bloch - Beautiful dub/IDM to start and cranked it up to full hard
detroit/berlin style techno with killer bass lines, hand claps, hi hats,
snares, synth pads and filters.
