OK, further to my post about this earlier, I've since had a load of emails from people who haven't been able to post for months.
I can't reply to you all, there's loads of you!! sorry....! so I compiled the replies that people kindly sent and put them all on this mail, so I hope this helps you all out....... Many thanks to all those people. 1.) anything sent in HTML format won't get posted - the list only likes plain text mail. (I don't know if this applies to say little links on plain text mails too) 2.) a few people have mentioned a couple of names. Just so neither of those two names don't get bombarded, any chance one of those two (you know you are!) could pop up and confirm/deny they are able to help?! I have a feeling they do this as a favour to the list owner, and are both fairly busy, so don't hassle 'em! 3.) the FAQ contains a few bits of good info ( http://music.hyperreal.org/lists/313/ ) 4.) the list is owned by a Mr George Smiley @ Hyperreal. I really don't know if he can deal with this sort of stuff, but this is his mail ( [EMAIL PROTECTED] ) 5.) the list doesn't like mails with swearing in.... 6.) the email address they are sending from is the same as the one they subscribed from. this may be obvious but some people's email clients/servers may have been configured differently. I think that last point is pretty important, and one that people forget a little maybe?? Anyway, Bye.
