Hello everyone--
I am pleased to confirm the following unique partnership with local
nightclub THE NECTO as we embark on a partnership that will create an
incredible and rare interactive discussion, Q&A and signing with legendary DJ
JOSH WINK! Our friends at Caroline, Ovum and System Recordings have delivered a
solid opportunity to create sales and visibility for this respected name in the
industry. The event will theme itself and Borders Ann Arbor as the destination
to get a behind the scene look at the tremendous talent touring through our
market going forward. Expect a major presence as the instore will involve the
artist, resident DJ and ambiance to give a true ambiance to our efforts, and
the positioning, placement and promotion that Borders delivers to result in a
true event for customers and fans!

TITLE: PROFOUND SOUNDS VOL. 2
EVENT TYPE: In-store Discussion / Q&A and signing [THE CONCEPT: Please work
with your store and neighboring Area Marketing Managers to create submission
boxes we can tentatively title Borders and Necto Present: Q&A with the DJ! -
JOSH WINK and customers can then note the event and get the chance to collect
their questions for the event mid-July. The week of event, please collect the
questions and send them to Borders Ann Arbor, where Meagen and I can review
prior to the event to create an atmosphere of interaction with the artist by
having a moderated Question and Answer session that can then lead to a
discussion and a better interaction with the audience. Before and during the
signing the NECTO will provide a resident DJ to amp the crowd with hot sounds
and of course the Profound Sounds Vol. 2 to incur sales]

CO-OP BUDGET | LABEL SUPPORT: YES [The following label and artist support will
be made available to assist you in your efforts:
Authorization has been given to book a 1/4 page ad in Real Detroit the week
prior to your event. Please work locally to get this placed and created with
Laurie Smith and Christine from the Necto
List event on their web site and label's official site to alert
Email blast to fans where available
500+ Bagstuffers will be requested and created from Caroline on your behalf at
no cost to the store
(2) 3' x 3' foam core boards for backdrop will be requested from XXXX for your
event
Posters and instore material will be made available through XXXXX.]
