Morning Troopers!
Just thought I'd let you know about last Friday night in the Sub Club,
Glasgow. After getting over my (pretty severe) disappointment at not
getting to see Shake (problems with the flight booking meant he wasn't
able to attend), I have to say that Martin, Barrie and Ewan from Rub A
Dub/Club 69 put in an exceptionally good performance and gave us all a
stormingly good evening. Mariah Carey's "Dream Lover" to Robert Hood
in under 4 records- about the only thing they didn't mix in was
Autechre and Dr Dre but I'm sure if the night went on long enough and
Barrie kept drinking that would have happened too. A nice example of
the local DJ's coming through and delivering the goods and the night
you're least expecting to happen, happens.
