glad you made that observation. now I know I'm not crazy. for years I've noticed that Prince likes to "borrow" heavily from Kraftwerk (and many other artists). I used to keep a mental list of his Kraftwerk inspired tracks, but havent really given it much thought lately. one example that immediately springs to mind: "Computer Blue" steals melodies from "Computer World/Computer Love and Pocket Calculator". Darling Nikki was a rendition of another Kraftwerk tune, but cant recall which "Trans Europe Express" I think. Erotic City is just that "Ride TheWhite Horse" song. Anyone else think of any others?

Totally agree!! listening to it now, the sounds and drum machines it's really a funkier take on some of the sounds that sprang to life on Kraftwerk Computerworld, which came out only a year and a half before 1999 was released! Crazy. Peace, Matt MacQueen
