Before that?  Moroder and Donna Summer.  The success of "Love to Love You
Baby" bankrolled the follow up "I Feel Love" in 1977.  There was a
fascination with science fiction at the time (UFO sightings, Star Wars burst
on the scene in 1977).  Moroder's electronic experiments inspired lots of
producers to try new things with the old Disco formula.
