don't we already know this ? someone asked george this question last time he was here in australia. he said that he'd f*** them in the ass ( i am sure he said 'ass' spelled that way ) the roots of techno etc etc. was listening to my ole purposemaker comp last nite. Jeff was definitely onto something with those tracks. they are very funky & abstract, deep too. Interesting to hear tracks like 'casa' and 'the dancer' where the kick is surprisingly low in the mix and the groovy loops & percussion are the main elements. kinda like it's upside down or something. very techno. I have managed to avoid being exposed to much in the way of looped bangers but if these PM tracks are what started that trend, boy did they get it wrong.
