I think that Violator is a masterpiece. The best album from DM, in my opinion. It has a very Kraftwerk-like sound, especially "Policy of Truth" and the final sequence of "Personal Jesus". And the sound engeneering on that album is amazing, for the ones who dig such thing. The bass drums had a unique analog texture, but yet sounds a lot like our well known TR-808. The bass lines and synth arrangements are very analog too.
