Smith And Mighty (another Bristol connection) are still pushing out their brand of soul/dub infused dnb....It's a lot lighter and breezier than the More Rockers complition but nice for a summers night.

I just got a copy of Bukem live @ Universe Big Love from slsk - absolutely blinding set. I really wish he didn't have to cancel out of the DEMF '01 gig. Was quite hyped to see him play. I've got the Optical Stairway CD and a More Rockers comp from Select Cuts which has some nice moments. I guess I know about most of the people in the GLO (good looking organization) but I'm wondering what outside that keeps with the same vibe (old or new)? anyone on a d&b mailing list they can forward this to? I've got a lot of catching up to do. I think one of the tracks was co produced by Derrick May ?? Maybr More Rockers compile their 12" onto a CD with a more dubby drum and bass vibe if you like that kinda thing. The Mixmag Bukem set still kicks it big time imo. Best thing is to look at the track listing on the EARTH compilations and use artists there as a guide. -- Mike
