Hi everyone.

I haven't been reading this thread and the power here is still inconsistent (on 
again off again). There's a mass exodus at the gas lines unlike anything I've 
seen, and according to my parents nothing like they've seen since the '67 riots.

I apologize if this ground has been covered previously in the thread, but I 
hope those of you without power in Detroit (or with minimal power) are keeping 
an eye out for your neighbor, especially the elderly ones. I know it's a very 
boy scout thing to say, but in situations like these I think it's most 
appropriate. I'm going to sound really preachy, but take two minutes out of 
your boredom or away from that battery powered laptop and check to see if 
they're doing okay. 

Now I'm going to go back to my porch and strum a few songs on the ol' guitar.
