some very very funky, futuristic, techjazzy tracks
pretty along the lines of aardvarck, nubian mindz, dego. .
good to see reflective is back in business as well
agreed! I was lucky enough to attend the Reflective record release
party for this 12" in San Francisco a few months ago, they played an
amazing live set that was all over the place stylistically, and
brilliant throughout. A nice long PA too! These guys can bring it
live. It was a packed into a little bar called The Top that has this
back room and tiny dance floor that was gettin busy. After that Jonah
Sharpe from Reflective spun a nice little techno/electro set, and
definitely pushed the energey up a notch when he dropped 69 "My
Machines".... a nice moment.
As for Blacktronics followers -- also check out the more abstract and
yet more varied Soil.Sole ep on MOVING records... even more different
stuff and some spoken word moods too.
best,
