(313) Slightly off-topic

A friend told me yesterday that some guys managed to have an "organic remix" of 
various songs, including Lou Reed's "Perfect day", by pouring sugar on the CD, 
then exposing it to the sun to let moss grow on it... apparently the result is 
very nice, since moss grows in a fractal way, thus reverberating the laser 
signal in an organized fashion... has anybody heard of that ? tried googling it 
but to no avail...
