Just how good is Stewart Walker? I've not heard a > whole about his live sets, even though I dig his records. > > (i think i can figure the rsponse anyway but i figured i'd ask) I think he's probably the 2nd best pure PAist out there, after only Shawn Rudiman. His sets always include either fully reworked or entirely original material, usually with lotso f the latter. The other comments sum it up pretty well. You can download some PAs of his from http://www.stewartwalker.com/artists/sw_liveshows.html and check his current tour schedule at http://www.stewartwalker.com/artists/sw_schedule.html. Also his recent Live Extracts CD has some good examples of his live sound. I heard his set in Philly last weekend was pretty good, and actually harder than he normally plays, which sound interesting! He is also playing Clever Music in London on 15/11. Tristan ======= http://www.phonopsia.co.uk [EMAIL PROTECTED]
